Our founding Director, Ben Smith, grew up in regional New South Wales. While studying engineering, Ben completed each summer harvest as Site Manager with GrainCorp.  Ben gained first-hand experience with the inherent inefficiencies faced by the grower, storer, transporter, and receiver of grain products.

Now with 20 years of experience in international resources and bulk handling sectors, Ben is still a committed supporter of all things regional and rural.  His passion is driving efficiency through process design – a passion he has brought to the Silotainer™ system.
